In the current context of the accelerated transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry, China's CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining industry is undergoing profound changes. Technological innovation and market expansion are advancing in parallel, providing a powerful boost to the global manufacturing industry.
On April 21st, Huazhong CNC launched the Huazhong 10 intelligent CNC system, the world's first new-generation artificial intelligence CNC system, at the China International Machine Tool Exhibition (CIMT2025) in Beijing. This system integrates AI chips and AI large models, deeply combines core technologies such as instruction domain big data, digital twin, and fusion modeling with the CNC system, enabling machine tools to have self-awareness, autonomous learning, and deep interaction capabilities for the first time. The machining accuracy is further increased by 30% on the original micron level, and the machining efficiency is increased by 5%-10%, driving China's industrial machine tools to accelerate their entry into the high-end of the industrial chain.
From June 5th to 8th, the 2025 Xi'an International Machine Tool Exhibition was held at the Xi'an International Convention and Exhibition Center, gathering over 600 machine tool enterprises from around the world. From five-axis linkage to sliding headstock lathes, from turning-milling compound to laser cutting, enterprises in the machine tool industry chain showcased cutting-edge technologies, comprehensively presenting full-scenario solutions from nano-level chip manufacturing to space-grade material forming. This exhibition focused on the pain points of industrial upgrading, showcased innovative products at the application end on-site, and professional visitors from application fields such as aerospace, high-end equipment, automotive manufacturing, and electronic information accounted for over 60%.
Not only have breakthroughs been made in technological research and development, but Chinese CNC machining enterprises have also achieved remarkable results in the international market. On June 6th, a batch of high-end CNC equipment from Chongqing Henghui Precision Mould Co., Ltd. was shipped to Russia. The customized five-axis 联动加工 center exported this time has micron-level machining accuracy, is equipped with an independently developed intelligent control system, has a 40% increase in machining efficiency compared to traditional equipment, a 25% reduction in energy consumption, and its technical indicators reach the international advanced level. This cooperation originated from the display of Henghui Mould at the 15th Shanghai Fastener Professional Exhibition, attracting the attention of many international purchasers and successfully signing a procurement agreement.
In addition, to meet the growing global demand for high-precision components, Yijin Hardware, a provider of precision manufacturing solutions, added high-speed 5-axis CNC machines, upgraded metrology systems, and built an integrated digital platform at its main production facility in China. This has improved production efficiency, shortened lead times, and met the stringent tolerance requirements for components in the aerospace, medical, automotive, and energy sectors.
With the continuous progress of technology, China's CNC machining industry is playing an increasingly important role in the global manufacturing industry with its high precision, high efficiency, and cost advantages. In the future, China's CNC machining industry is expected to make breakthroughs in more fields and lead the global manufacturing industry to new heights.
